Introducing…… Jack Roberts developer of the Holo apps and the cream of the crop HoloWeb
I caught up with Jack on a private Google Plus stream to chat about his app and what the future brings. (Beware of some amateur journalist skills on display here) After 5 minutes or so we started a little Q&A session.
Q..Hi Jack thanks for taking time out to chat to us. Just a couple of quick question to learn about you and your apps, maybe a bit of background first..When did you start developing Android apps?
A..Well I First Started Developing Just Last Year I Just Thought I’d Give It A Test And Then I Got Into It And Here We Are Today
Q..Really? No dev experience before then?
A..No Not Really I Just Learnt As A Went Along, I Did Have A Few Hurdles But As Always I Found My Way Through It
Q..I’ve seen and tested your Beta apps, now this is the start of something big. Tell me more.
A..Well I Have The HoloStore Thats Being Updated But The Big One Is HoloWeb I Think HoloWeb Is Really The New Big Thing And Its Advancing So Fast And I Couldn’t Be Happier With It. I Have Some Big Things Planned For HoloWeb Stuff I Can’t Really Talk About But All In All For HoloWeb And All The Other HoloApps I Couldn’t Be Happier Or Prouder Of
Q..How can people find your work?
A..The HoloStore Web Page Is The Main Way To Download The HoloApps Suite And Its Great. I Have Already Made A Deal To Add More Apps In That Store And Will Continue To Improve. The HoloStore Android App Is Another Great Way To Download My Apps And Other Android Apps That At The Moment Has 7 Apps But Soon And I Mean Very Soon Will Be Growing To 25 Apps Which Is Great.
Q..So all your apps are available from your web store? All holo apps in one place sounds cool. Why not publish to Play Store?
A.. Yeah I Like It But The Reason Why I Haven’t Jumped And Published My Apps To Google Play Is For Many Reasons But I’ll Give You The Main One And That Reason Is That If I Publish My App To Google Play I Could Guess That My App Like HoloWeb For Instance Will Be Ripped Off Within The Day. I Just Prefer The Simple And Easy Control
Q..Weren’t you making a music app? HoloMusic?
A..HoloMusic At The Moment Has Been Discontinued For Now Because There Was A Few Issues Like Memory Leakage, Slow Performance And A Few More Things But HoloMusic’s Future Is Up In The Air But It Is A Large Area Of Interest For Me
I really liked that music app. That’s how I stumbled on your work. Anything you want to add on closing?
Well All I Think The Final Thing I Want To Say Is That Stay Tuned For The Future I Have A Lot Of Amazing And Revolutionary Stuff Launching Soon. So Thanks For That I Enjoyed It
